Using Lube with Your Favourite Toys

When we think of lube, the first thing that cums to mind (excuse the pun!) is sexual intercourse. Lube plays a pretty important part in the act of love, lust and passion. We slather ourselves in the liquid of love so that our ride is just as comfortable and enjoyable as it could possibly be.

But it’s surprising how many of us don’t actually bother using a lubricant when using a sex toy!

“Hold the phone!” I hear you gasp. “You mean people actually go without something silky and smooth to lubricate their pleasure when getting jiggy with a rabbit?”. Yes. It’s shocking, it’s surprising, but it’s true.

Some people just completely forget to buy lube and decide through sheer determination that they are going to pleasure themselves every what way they can without letting anything stop them. To those people, I applaud. I admire that they want to get their rocks off and won’t let anything stand in the way. But I do wonder how enjoyable it will actually be...

Others completely forget where they put the lube (story of my life!) and in the moment just cast it away to get on with feeding their passions with pleasure. But all too often, things have to stop as they realise how important lubricant is and how it enhances their fun.

Some crafty Kinksters decide to use their own body’s natural liquids as a personal moisturizer and may spit on their toys and rub it up and down to keep it moist and ready for insertion. Does it work? Yes. Is it practical? Unless you’re producing litres of saliva, probably not.

Think of it like this. If you take your favourite dildo, make a hole with your fist and push it in and out, you’re going to feel a lot of friction in your hand. If you add a lubricant to it, you’ll notice a world of difference. Now think of down below. Yes, your body does offer a natural lubricant to some extent, but sooner or later it will run out, leaving you feeling dry, sore and uncomfortable.

Look, a good lube is the difference between enjoying your sexual activities or feeling like you’re being rubbed up and down inside with sandpaper, so it’s really important, not only for your own body, but for your own pleasure, that you choose something of quality.

For sex toys, LuvLoob’s Water-Based Natural Lubricants are the ideal companion. These New Zealand made lubricants can be used with sex toys and dildos made from latex, silicone and ABS, as well as steel and most other materials. They can also be used with condoms, so if you’re someone that starts out with a toy and builds up to penetration with a penis (or vice versa) you won’t need to swap lubricants halfway through.

What’s even better is there is no staining from these lubricants, so you won’t need to worry about spilling them onto the sheets or changing the colour of your toys.

Another issue when using sex toys with lubricants is that the lube can become sticky and tacky after going in and out a few times, spoiling the moment and creating strange and often unwanted sensations (and in some cases, unpleasant noises!). LuvLoob’s Water-Based formula has been specifically designed to create a kissable, edible and above all, non-sticky lubricant. You won’t need to go for a pit stop halfway through because of stickiness, you’ll be able to go on and on. And on and on and on. And you won’t need to drown your favourite sex toys in water over and over trying to rid them of a terribly tacky sexual lubricant either, they’ll clean up nice and easily.

If you’re not using lubricants already with your sex toys, you really should be. Not only will it help your enjoyment, it’ll prevent friction damage to your delicate area, and that’s something you really want to avoid. Keep your lubricant bottles handy (like in the bedside drawer or with your sex toys) so it’s always where you need it, and when your getting low on lube, it’s time to go shopping…
